No matter how much we can run away from these terms, the fact is that they are coming and whether we like it or not, we will be affected by them either positively or negatively. The term Innovation is explained as the procedure of coming up with new ideas, methods, products, services, or resolutions with an important positive effect and value. It includes transforming creative ideas into practical outcome that enhance efficiency and effectiveness or satisfy unmet needs (Jain, 2023). While the term trend is used to describe developments or changes in situations and human behaviour. Now let us look at how these terms will impact the public relations industry.

It has given public relations professionals an opportunity to utilize AI tools to introduce new ideas and defeat writer's blog. Public relations professionals can now establish best content that is quick which is good for time sensitive public relations campaigns. For example, the AI tools help with crafting effective pr strategies, reduce manual research, predict trends, and many more which makes work easier for public relations professionals.
- Data driven public relations.
David (2022) states that it has enabled public relations professionals to keep track of mentions, evaluate performance, establish accurate decisions using real numbers which helps in relationship building and targeting the audience. For example, public relations practitioners track the mentions of the organisation they work for through different media channels like blogs, social media, articles, news and so on. Public relations practitioners are now depending on data to guide their strategies meaning that the utilization of numerical data to guide public relations strategies is becoming more important.

With the shifting consumer expectations, public relations practitioners are faced with a challenge to respond to the increasing demand for more authentic interactions. Relying on traditional corporate messaging is not enough anymore. For example, in today's world brands have their focus on making images that will relate to their audiences. With the utilization of empathy, understanding, and humour, deeper connections with audience can be enabled. In this digital age, connections that are emotional are just as important as the AI driven technology.

Public relations practitioners are also faced with a challenge to remain loyal to their brand's essence among outside pressures and audience expectations. For example, brands such as Patagonia have continually kept authenticity through aligning their messaging with their dedication to environmental sustainability. Their authentic approach resonates with consumers who take environmental consciousness seriously (Guarneri, 2023). So public relations professionals need to adopt this strategy meaning that they should remain true to their brand's identity and not allow external influences to change what they stand for.
PERSONAL REFLECTION ON FUTURE TRENDS AND INNOVATIONS ON PUBLIC RELATIONS
My biggest worry on these future trends and innovations which introduce advanced technologies was that organizations will not see the need to hire public relations professionals anymore as AI tools are taking over our work. After my research, I realised that as long as these AI tools cannot feel or be emotional, there will always be a need for human touch which is where we step in as public relations professionals.
